He/Him

Therapist for Teens & Young Adults

No judgement. No pressure. Just real support.

My Story

I grew up in a home that fostered and adopted many children, and I saw firsthand how powerful it is when a young person is finally given a chance. That experience shaped everything about who I am and the work I do.

I originally earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, thinking I’d go into law enforcement or the military. But the more I explored those paths, the more I realized I didn’t want a career focused on punishment, I wanted one focused on helping people move forward. So, I shifted direction and earned my master’s in social work.

Over the last ten years, I’ve worked with teens and young adults who feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, or stuck. Many come from tough environments, unstable homes, or systems that didn’t give them a fair shot. Some are involved in probation, parole, or pre‑trial intervention. I’ve also worked in residential treatment with young men who believed they were out of options. A lot of them had been judged for their mistakes long before anyone asked what they were going through.

What keeps me in this work are the “aha moments”, the point in session when everything clicks and a young person realizes they’re capable of growth in new ways. Watching that shift happen is incredibly rewarding.

Young people deserve someone who listens first, validates what’s real, and challenges them when it helps. I involve parents when it supports progress, but my primary work is with teens and young adults. My goal is to help them see their strengths, understand their choices, and build a future they can feel proud of.
